This is a script that allows you to switch the engines made by Carda Jowol for the default A330. They have been made by Carda Jowol originally for the Jar Design A330 and have been modified by Southwest_aviation in order to make it fit to the default A330-300 of X-Plane 12.
An installation Manual comes with the zip file.

Thank you for this! Even got it to work on the A330-200. For those of you wondering how, copy the data refs and objets from this .acf file to the -200 .acf file.

how did you do that, with excel? because if I copy the carda one the wings are still in the position of the -300 and not the -200. Is there specific steps you could provide please? Thanks in advance

get the carda download from the threshold link above and copy and paste the GE & PW folders into the objects folder in your a332 folder / copy and paste the sasl folder in this download and put it into the plugin folder in your a332 folder / look at the .acf file from this download and copy the data refs from the GE and PW engines / open up plane maker and press add 10 times in the objects section and put in those data refs you copied from the .acf from this download / add a333/engines/default under the Trent engines / done

Hi, what coordinates do you use for the engines? I got the switcher working but the engines are stuck at the front of the plane

You have to download the Carda engines from the link in the Manual and paste the content into your copy of the default A330 folder. After that, copy everything from the switcher-mod (the plugins folder and the A330.acf into your A330 folder as well. That's it.

Any way for this to work with x-works 200's also this would be cool for the toliss family and cardas mods.

Yes. You can add these engines (both of them) to your A332 in Planemaker with the "Objects" tab, and connect each engine (also in Planemaker in the "Objects"-tab) to the following killdatarefs:
a333/engines/pratt
a333/engines/ge
a333/engines/default

Possible, yes. But I don't own these planes and I would only buy them to make this mod for them. I am vurrently more focusing on updating the A330neo mod for XP12.

If your menu is greyed out you have to turn off the batteries. The plugin is supposed to make the menu unavailable as long as the batteries are on. This is intended to prevent the engines from being switched while you are operating the aircraft.

Download the engines from the Link in the description and put the folders "GE Engines" and "PW Engines" into the objects-folder of your copied A330-300, then put the content from the zipfile of the Engine switcher mod into your A330-300 folder as well. Overwrite when promted.
