This is an X-Plane 12 updater for the COLIMATA F-18F add-on (originally for X-Plane 11); it includes a revamped .acf file and more realistic canopy glass.
INSTALLATION:
1- Download and unzip the file; you should now have a folder named "COLIMATA F18F v12 kit".
2- Open the "COLIMATA F18F v12 kit" folder, then open your existing F-18F (v11) folder and delete the file with the ".acf" extension found there. Next, copy the ".acf" file from the downloaded kit and place it into the F-18F folder.
- For the canopy glass: open the "objects" folder of your F-18F, delete the ".png" file named "FA-18F_gl", then copy the "FA-18F_gl.png" file from the downloaded kit and place it into your F-18F's "objects" folder. That's all! :D
I apologize :/ : Unfortunately, I forgot that the F18F uses PNG instead of DDS in its current version (I've been working a lot on the F16; sorry about that).
