This is a simple-made scenery of Keperveyem Airport located in Russia.
In 1970, the construction of an unpaved runway began on the northeastern outskirts of Keperveyem. At the end of the same year, the new airfield began to receive An-2 and Il-14 aircraft. In 1972, the reception of An-12, An-24, Yak-40 aircraft began; the next year, the first Mi-8 began to be based here.
By 1975, the airport and related infrastructure were completed in Keperveyem, at the same time the Bilibino United Air Squadron was transferred here. In the following years, it was planned to build a concrete runway, but these plans remained unrealized.
In 2008, the terminal building was overhauled, and the lighting equipment at the airfield was replaced.
Accepted aircraft types
The airfield is capable of receiving An-28, An-12, An-24, An-26, An-74, Il-18 and all lighter aircraft, as well as helicopters of all types. In winter, it is possible to receive Il-76 aircraft.
