Description

Walkaround Plugin for X-Plane

A simple plugin that enables a pre-flight walkaround of your aircraft — similar to the walk mode in MSFS2024. No extra settings, no customization. The plugin also allows you to configure custom views and interact with SGES stairs.

Works in xp11 and xp12

Controls:

  • Movement: WASD

  • Sprint: C

  • Crouch: X

  • New custom view: N

  • Exit: Esc

Installation:
Place the plugin in X-Plane 12/Resources/plugins.

For SGES integration, place zz_walkaround_sges_bridge in Resources\plugins\FlyWithLua\Scripts

Usage:
Assign a hotkey to Walkaround / Turn on Walkaround in the X-Plane keyboard settings.

Limitations:
Tested in X-Plane 12 on Windows; functionality in other versions is not guaranteed.
Version 1.6 features are currently available on Windows only

The issue for me is the landing gear is missing when starting the mode, any fix for that? Thx

Thanks, it works, but it conflicts with the StopZoomingDammit plugin. Any chance of getting them to work together somehow?

Im new to X-plane and lucky I found this, it seems to work perfect for me - no issues and does just want im after walking both in the cabin and outside. Great product
