### **What I’ve Done:**
- **Revamped Lighting:** Completely reworked X-Plane 12’s lighting for a more immersive and natural experience, especially during night flights and sunsets.
- **AI-Generated Sky Colors:** Leveraged AI and real pilot photos to create stunning, authentic sky colors. Sunrises, sunsets, and cloudy days now look breathtakingly real.
- **Cloud Perfection:** Carefully fine-tuned clouds to achieve near-photorealistic visuals while preserving the essence of X-Plane 12’s engine.
- **Atmospheric Enhancements:** Improved how the atmosphere reacts to every element, resulting in a dynamic and lifelike environment.
- **Shadow Fix:** Polished shadows for better clarity and sharper details, especially around clouds.
- **Rain Rework:** Let’s be honest, the original rain effects felt like Star Wars hyperspace. I’ve turned it off and refined storm visuals for a more realistic touch.

### **Installation Guide**
#### **1. Copy Files**
- Navigate to the **mod folder** and copy all files into your **X-Plane 12 root folder**.
- **Skip copying** the following folders:
- **NVIDIA Freestyle Filters**
- **Shadows Fix**
#### **2. NVIDIA Compatibility Fix**
- In the **X-Plane 12 root folder**, locate the file `X-Plane.exe`.
- Create a **duplicate** of `X-Plane.exe` in the same folder.
- Rename the duplicate to `eurotrucks2.exe`.
- *Note: Do not delete the original `X-Plane.exe`. This step ensures NVIDIA Freestyle Filters recognize X-Plane as a game.*
#### **3. Create a Shortcut**
- Create a **desktop shortcut** for `eurotrucks2.exe` (which is your renamed X-Plane executable).
- Right-click on the shortcut and select **Properties**.
- In the **Target** field, add the following command to the end:
```
--allow_reshade=0
```
- Example:
```
"D:\X-Plane 12\eurotrucks2.exe" --allow_reshade=0
```
#### **4. Install Reshade**
- Download Reshade from the official website: [reshade.me](https://reshade.me).
- Launch the Reshade installer:
- Select `eurotrucks2.exe` as the executable.
- Choose **Vulkan** as the rendering API.
- Select the default filters and add **QUINT** and the filter package that includes `AmbientLight`.
#### **5. Load Reshade Preset**
- Launch X-Plane using the newly created shortcut (`eurotrucks2.exe`).
- Confirm that Reshade loads upon launch.
- In the Reshade menu, select the preset file named **`OGMFLY.ini`** from your **X-Plane 12 root folder**.
#### **6. Apply NVIDIA Filters**
- Once X-Plane is running, press **`Alt+F3`** to open NVIDIA Freestyle Filters.
- Follow the instructions in the **NVIDIA folder** (included in the mod) to apply the recommended filter settings.
#### **7. Apply Shadows Fix (8K Shadows)**
- Open the **Shadows Fix** folder included in the mod and follow the instructions provided inside.
- Once complete, ensure you launch X-Plane using the **eurotrucks2.exe** desktop shortcut.
#### **8. Enjoy the Skies**
- Experience stunning enhanced visuals, including photorealistic clouds, dynamic skies, revamped lighting, and polished 8K shadows!

Okay it looks wonderful but it is not real. It looks as if a camera has been overexposed. Maybe there is something like that in America but not here in Germany. It depends on where you are, but if you like that sort of thing why not.

That Addon is good no Question, I have try it, but the clouds have to much fire in color. We here in Germany have more smooth colors at Sunrise. I prefer VisualXP, they are the right colors for our area. But I also really like this version, but the colors of the sunrise and sunset are too strong for me. I always say that less is often more.

settings.txt in Resourcers, then scroll down to where the section of shadows is which is similar to the code inside the txt in the Shadows Fix folder and then copy and paste the settings replacing the ones in settings.txt
