About

This is a version of RXP's XP 12 Enhancer that has been patched for X-Plane 12.

References to the following datarefs have been removed

  • xvar_spc_fsr_rcas_attenuation
  • new_clouds/shadow_blur_size
  • new_clouds/shadow_kill_blur
  • water/enable_refraction

The RCAS dataref has been replaced with what I presume is the newer dataref sim/private/controls/reno/rcas_rat

I have also removed some options, such as the "FXAA on MSAA" option since this is natively supported by X-Plane now.

Please note that I am only uploading this to help other community users to get this up and running again. I do not wish to become responsible for keeping this up to date as, while this script is helpful in alleviating the issues with dark cockpits, I am well aware that it's modifying core sim effects to work around an existing issue which I hope Laminar address one day.

Thanks for updating this, but the aircraft shadows as well as the terrain shadows flicker constantly and it gets pretty annoying 😕
